I have it on good authority that my name, The Scullery Maid, sounds too self-pitying.  I am accepting nominations for alternate names.

    Since you are working your raw ingredients ('taters and beans)and trying to make your alphabet soup more palatable, I see you more as the Chef. (Would that make the husband your Sous chef? :) )

    Another vote for Chef. You could also be House Maid (you know, head of the household), or go all Harry Potter and be House Elf. Whatever you decide on, I think J should be the Butler or the Valet.
